Onboarding journey: feasibility
Our engineers collect all the technical data we need for the technical implementation of One Net Business.
We do the following:
-
Verify the configuration template you provided. If you haven’t provided the configuration template, we’ll set up the default configuration.
Additional configuration
If you haven’t ordered any remote or on-site installation and configuration packages, all additional configuration will have to be performed by your site administrators.
- Check if your network infrastructure is ready, based on the results of the Remote Quality Check.
- Check if any modifications and additional work are required to install the One Net equipment successfully.
- Schedule all the required appointments with your administrators.
During the call with our engineer, provide the following information:
- Are there dedicated network sockets (for example, Cat 5 ports) available for each ordered IP device (for example, desk phone)? Is every port connected to the location of our switch?
- Do you have any devices over your phone line that should be connected through the Obihai™ OBi302 analogue phone adapter, for example, a fax machine?
- Is a separate VLAN network infrastructure planned?
For your One Net Business service to work, you also need to have an access line, which you can order together with One Net Business. When you order an access line at Vodafone, our access department performs the necessary setup.

Vodafone doesn’t offer support for 3rd-party access lines used with One Net Business.
Once all technical requirements and modifications are confirmed, we initiate a "change freeze". This means that we're not going to implement any changes that are not included in the configuration template you approved. We need the change freeze to prepare your solution in our systems.
