Managing your caller ID

About your caller ID

Your caller ID is the information that's transmitted when you make a call so the other person can see who's calling them. In the same way, you can see who's calling you when you receive a call. This can help you decide whether to answer the call and how to handle it if you do.

Caller ID name and phone number

Vodafone sets up the caller ID phone number. This is sometimes called CLIP no screening. Contact the One Net Business team to change the caller ID phone number.

Your caller ID name is the name used when your account was created in One Net Business. You can change this if required.

To view your caller ID

  1. Select Profil.

Your caller ID name is displayed in Nachname für Namensanzeige and Vorname für Namensanzeige.

Your caller ID phone number is displayed in Anzeigenummer.

About withholding caller ID

When you make a call, your name and number can be displayed to people who have caller identification features on their phones. You can choose to withhold this information when you call people outside your organisation.

Note

Some people reject anonymous calls

If you withhold your caller ID for outgoing calls, some people may not answer your calls.

Your caller ID can also be displayed to people who call you. You can withhold your caller ID for incoming calls if you don't want to display it when people outside your organisation call you.
